Heat Transfer Patch Types We Manufacture
Four silicone patch formats run on the same moulding line. Choose the one that matches your garment, then customise the artwork, colour, thickness and surface finish.
Silicone Heat Transfer vs. Embroidery vs. PVC
The decoration method decides how the finished garment feels, washes and photographs. Here is how moulded silicone compares with the two alternatives buyers usually weigh up.
Silicone Heat Transfer
- Moulded 0.3–2.5 mm raised silicone layer
- Bonded by heat press, no stitching and no visible glue line
- ISO 6330 tested at 60 °C for 50 wash cycles with no peeling
- Pantone matched colour with sharp 3D edges
- Soft and skin-friendly on kidswear and sportswear
Embroidery
- Thread texture, but no moulded 3D depth
- Fine lines and smooth gradients are hard to reproduce
- Edges can fray under heavy industrial washing
PVC Patch
- Firmer and stiffer hand feel than silicone
- Less comfortable on direct-skin garments
- Heavier and less flexible on thin fabrics

Custom Heat Transfer Patches FAQ
What is the MOQ for custom heat transfer patches?
Standard production runs start at 1,000 pcs per design. A 100 pcs trial run can be approved by our sales team for first orders or high-value artwork.
How many washes will the patch survive?
Our silicone labels are tested to ISO 6330 at 60 °C for 50 wash cycles with no peeling or cracking. Real-world results depend on the fabric, the press settings and the detergent used.
What heat press settings do you recommend?
145–160 °C, 3–4 kgf/cm² and 12–15 seconds. We send the recommended settings with every shipment and fine-tune them for your specific fabric.
Can you produce from a sample without 3D files?
Yes. Our in-house mould shop reverse-engineers from a worn patch or a matching garment shell, so no STEP or IGES file is required to start.
